Title: Ins and Outs of Simple Machines
Grade Level: 6
Subject: Science
Technology integration: This lesson uses the Internet to collect data and pictures for the multimedia project, multimedia presentation software, such as: Microsoft Excel, Hyperstudio, and PowerPoint, digital camera and video, and The Way things Work by David Mcauly. All technology is used to present and demonstrate Simple Machines.
2.)
Title: Renaissance Period
Grade Level: 5th & 6th
Subject: Social Studies
Technology integration: This lesson uses computers, PowerPoint software, television projection system, and a website: http://www.learner.org/exhibits/renaissance to identify purposes of visual art in history and color.
3.)
Title: Automating Community Service
Grade Level: 6-8
Subject: Math, Computers, and Internet
Technology integration: In this lesson, students create spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel to track their mandatory 25 hours of community service that the school requires each student to complete.
